چکیده
Air pollution due to Particulate Matter (PM) is an increasing concern of global extent. It has been the focus many research projects worldwide and latest low-cost technology offering ease cheap way monitor PM concentration. In this research, a monitoring platform was built with objectives evaluating its feasibility performance in mobile measurements, as well characterizing concentration profiles along measurement route. The rack railway Stuttgart utilized means transportation for system which temporal spatial distribution PM10, PM2.5 PM1 route attained. measurements were conducted around two months from mid January until March 2019, during operation hours railway. results showed that concentrations dominated by fine particulate matter (PM2.5 PM1) Higher measured near federal highway high traffic area compared residential area. An overestimation using sensor observed relative humidity conditions professional aerosol spectrometers.

Low cost air quality monitors to evaluate nanosized particulate matter. A pilot study
Particulate matter is defined as a mixture of airborne solid particles and liquid droplets that can be inhaled and may cause serious health problems. Such elements are currently measured utilizing air quality monitoring devices that provide information on PM 10 and PM 2.5 levels giving information on pollution levels. However, many difficulties are encountered in the determination of nanosized ...
متن کاملLaboratory Evaluation of the Shinyei PPD42NS Low-Cost Particulate Matter Sensor
OBJECTIVE Finely resolved PM2.5 exposure measurements at the level of individual participants or over a targeted geographic area can be challenging due to the cost, size and weight of the monitoring equipment. We propose re-purposing the low-cost, portable and lightweight Shinyei PPD42NS particle counter as a particle counting device. Previous field deployment of this sensor suggests that it ca...

متن کاملDistributed, Low-cost Particulate Matter Sensing: Scenarios, Challenges, Approaches
The observation and control of particulate matter (PM) pollution in ambient air is increasingly being recognized as an important topic in societies across the globe. Classic measurement approaches provide accurate daily means but are static, expensive and suffer from low spatial resolution and high latency. Distributed measurement grids using real-time capable instrumentation not only can provi...
